The Quality Assurance Unit Coordinator provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance systems across Zanzibar University. The Coordinator ensures that academic programs, teaching and learning processes, assessment methods, and administrative operations comply with national regulatory requirements and international quality standards.
Working closely with academic units, management, and regulatory bodies, the Coordinator promotes a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making to enhance institutional effectiveness and academic excellence.
Strengthening quality across academic and administrative processes
Continuous evaluation of teaching, learning, assessment methods, and curriculum delivery to ensure academic standards are met and exceeded.
Coordination of accreditation processes with NACTVET, TCU, and other regulatory bodies, including documentation and compliance reporting.
Conducting internal academic and administrative audits to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Management of student evaluations, graduate tracer studies, stakeholder feedback, and satisfaction surveys.
Development, implementation, and review of quality assurance policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Training academic and administrative staff on quality standards, assessment methods, and continuous improvement practices.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Unit to strengthen academic standards and institutional excellence.
