  • Transfer is allowed only after completion of at least one academic year/semester.
Internal transfers are approved by the University Senate upon recommendation from the relevant Faculty or Institute.

Undergraduate & Postgraduate (TCU)

External transfers for degree programmes are governed by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

  • Transfer must be processed through the TCU Online Transfer System.
  • Only students from TCU-recognized institutions are eligible.
  • Transfers are subject to programme capacity and equivalence.
Certificate & Diploma (NACTVET)

Transfers for certificate and diploma programmes, especially health-related fields, follow NACTVET regulations.

  • Institution and programme must be NACTVET-accredited.
  • Health diploma transfers require strict compliance with curriculum standards.
  • Approval is granted through NACTVET systems and the University.

Credit Transfers

Credit transfer allows recognition of previously completed courses that are equivalent in content, level, and learning outcomes.
